Feb 20th, 2008. 32nd Street, the Fort. Rhymes. Beats. Spits.
Last week's Wednesday Night was quite an unusual one for me, given that I've never been to an all-out Hip Hop gig and I'm not really much of a Hip-Hop fan. But surprisingly, I really enjoyed myself. Although the people and the place is all new to me, the energy of the music was very infectious that i couldn't help but take notice of the rolling beats and crunching rhymes. I guess one can never fully appreciate hip-hop until you see and hear it raw. I won't go as far as saying I was converted, but I definitely found myself bobbing my head to the beat.
Fave performances that night: Hotnixx, God's Will and Nimbus9's set, fo' sheezy!
